Delivery Information
Local deliveries to central areas are couriered within 1-2 working days. Regional or outlying areas will typically take 2–3 working days. International deliveries generally take 6–10 working days, depending on the country’s customs processes. Please note that while we always aim to deliver within the timeframes given, the delivery times provided are guidelines and may vary depending on the courier and customs processes.
International Orders
When ordering goods from The Old’e English Shaving Shop for delivery outside South Africa, VAT is not charged. However, the recipient may be liable for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. These charges are beyond our control and must be borne by the recipient. Customs policies vary widely; we recommend contacting your local customs office for further information.
Please also note: the recipient is considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the destination country. Cross-border deliveries may be opened and inspected by customs authorities.
Payments
We accept payment via credit/debit cards, EFT, and other methods listed on our website. For international customers, please note that some overseas banks may block transactions to South Africa. Should your payment fail, kindly contact your bank to request a temporary lift of this restriction.
Returns and Refunds
We aim to deliver your order as swiftly as possible, but no later than 30 days from receipt of payment. If we are unable to deliver within this period, we will notify you promptly. You may then decide whether to proceed with your order or cancel it for a full refund.
In accordance with South African law, you may cancel your order within 7 days of receipt (the cooling-off period) for a full refund, provided the goods are returned unused, in their original condition, and with packaging and seals intact. Please note you will be responsible for the direct costs of return shipping.
Due to hygienic and safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned or refunded unless defective or not as described:
- Shaving brushes, razors, shaving blades, and hair brushes
- Grooming, hair, skin, and cosmetic products
- Fragrances
- Custom-engraved, once-off, or sample items
